Lash Botox 2.0 Lash Lift is a nourishing lash lift treatment full of vitamins, amino acids, proteins, hydrolyzed keratin and argan oil. This treatment not only lifts and curls the lashes but it thickens lashes up to 40%. Lash Botox is a plant collagen mask. It is an additional step in the lash lift treatment. In this lash lift treatment there are 4 products applied versus 3. The nourishing mask fills the natural lash with collagen and keratin making them smoother, silky and giving the lashes a full, thick look.
Lash Botox will also prevent lashes after being lifted from going in different directions. This treatment helps to repair damaged lashes, stimulates growth and protects against environmental pollutants. This lash treatment has a low pH level, is paraben free, ammonia free, sodium bromate free, no formaldehyde, no mineral oils, paraffin, dyes, silicone, hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty free. Lasts 8-12 weeks depending on the lash cycle.
This is our most dramatic, longer lasting lash lift. This lash lift is best suited for clients with medium to long lashes. If you have very short or sparse lashes we recommend you book for our Waterproof Lash Lift and purchase our lash serum to grow your lashes until they are a suitable length for this treatment.
Who is a good candidate for our lash lifts?
In most cases if you have healthy, full, short to long lashes you are a great candidate for a lash lift. There are some lashes that are not suitable for our lash lift treatments. If the lashes are extremely short, sparse, curly, or damaged you are NOT a good candidate for a lash lift. When you lift these types of lashes the result isn't great and it will not last long. We take pride in quality over quantity. We want to make sure you are getting a great result for the price. We have a solution for those who are wanting to grow and get healthy lashes using our lash serum and conditioner. When you combine both and use them for 2-3 months you will see a huge difference in your lash length and fullness. We recommend this to anyone who wants fuller longer lashes.
What do I do to prepare for my lash lift appointment?
Please come to your appointment with clean lashes. Meaning no eye makeup or mascara on or near the eyes/lashes. Please avoid wearing any foundation, concealer or creams on or near the eye area. Failure to do so may affect the result of your lift. We also recommend removing contacts if they will bother you during the lash lift process.
How long will my lash lift and Tint last?
Results vary based on the length, fullness, thickness and growth structure of your natural lashes, but generally speaking the results from your lash lift last approximately 6 to 12 weeks depending on your lash cycle, aftercare and what lash lift treatment you choose. From our experience LASHBOTOX Lash Lift has lasted the longest. The lash tint will last approximately 2 to 4 weeks. Once the tint fades you can schedule an appointment to get them re-tinted.
When should I come in again to get another lash lift?
It is recommended that you come in after 8 weeks to get another lash lift. A whole lash cycle averages 60 days. By 2 months most of your lashes should have grown out or shedded and new lashes have grown in. If most of your lashes are straight again that is a good indicator that you are ready for another lash treatment.
I had my lash lift done at a different salon or by another person and they were over processed or damaged; can I still get a lash lift at Lash Love Beauty Bar?
Yes! Depending on the condition of your lashes and when the previous lash lift was completed. In most cases we should be able to fix the lashes and get them nourished back to health. After a lash lift treatment is completed to fix the bad lash lift, all clients will need to purchase a lash serum and aftercare conditioner. These are needed in order to nourish the lashes to their original state. Many over processed or damaged lashes from bad lash lifts become extremely dehydrated, short and brittle. Our lash serum will help the lashes to grow long and full combined with our aftercare conditioner to prevent lash breakage, lash fallout and strengthen the lash hair. We call this the LASH FIX IT KIT!
Will a lash lift damage my natural lashes?
No! As long as you have an experienced lash artist who is experienced with the lash lift process you will not have any damage to your natural lashes. All of our lash lift products are created in Europe with top quality ingredients. All of our lash lifts are non- toxic, formalin free, paraben free, no formaldehyde, and cruelty free. Aftercare is also extremely important to follow once you have had your lash lift.
I just had my lash lift done and I got them wet or accidentally slept on them or they curled too much, went back straight. What should I do?
It is completely normal to have one or three lashes crisscross but if you have gotten them wet before the 48 hours or they got kinked from you sleeping on your sides or on your face, they curled into the eyelid or went back completely straight then we are able to fix them after 48 hours. Please try to comb through them first and if that doesn’t work then make sure to contact us within the first three days after your treatment and we will schedule you to come in. If you feel your lashes lifted too much, you are able to apply coconut oil at night for the first two weeks and that will loosen the curl. Please note that NO REFUNDS are given on any services performed.
I have a wedding, special occasion, trip coming up and I have never had a lash lift or extensions. Which one should I book for and when should I book?
If you have never had extensions applied or a lash lift before and or have a special event, then we recommend booking 1-2 weeks before the event. If you book right before an event and are not completely satisfied with the result then we may not have the time available to squeeze you in at the last minute for a fix or change of service. If you are unsure on what service to choose whether a lash lift or extensions it depends on what look you are wanting to achieve and how much maintenance you are wanting. A lash lift is more of a natural look, enhancement whereas lash extensions are more of a dramatic look similar to strip lashes. If you are a bride and are doing a natural bride look with minimal makeup we recommend a lash lift. If you are doing a more glamorous makeup look for your wedding we recommend lash extensions.
What lash lift should I choose: Waterproof Lash Lift or Lash Botox Lash Lift?
If you have very short to sparse lashes we recommend Waterproof Lash Lift or if you need to get your lashes wet/apply makeup right after your treatment. If you have medium to long, full lashes we recommend Lash Botox, as it is our best lash lift treatment and will give you a dramatic, beautiful lift. Please DO NOT book for any lash lift if your lashes are extremely short as we will not be able to lift them. A serum is recommended to use for two months in order to have a healthy length.
Can I swim, shower, exercise, apply any makeup/skincare or visit a spa with a lash lift?
Yes. You can shower, swim, exercise, etc. and it will not affect your lash lift. Special care is required but overall maintenance is low. However, we recommend that you do not wash your eye area for at least 48 hours after your lash lift and avoid any water, steam, heat or humidity. After the 48 hours, if you are going to be in pool water, salt water or you’ve been sweating from your face we recommend you comb through your lashes to prevent tangling and use an aftercare conditioner. After 48 hours you are able to apply eye makeup and you can wear mascara on top of your lash lift. Any mascara brand is acceptable but a conditioning mascara is recommended in order to make the lash lift last longer. We have a variety of conditioning mascaras in store to purchase. We do not recommend waterproof mascara, any oil based products such as skincare, oils, eyeliner or foundations on or near the eye area. These oil-based products will cause the lash lift to fall. We also recommend using ONLY oil free makeup remover to remove makeup.
How do I take care of my lash lift?
During the initial 48 hours for Lash Botox Lash Lift after appointment.
- Be gentle with your lashes.
- Do not touch with fingers.
- Do not wet your lashes. (LASH BOTOX ONLY)
- Avoid steam, hot showers, facials, saunas, and swimming pools.
- Avoid makeup, mascara, face wash, shampoos and any harsh products.
- Do not use lotions, creams, oils or makeup remover wipes on lashes.
- Do not sleep on your face or sides.
After 48 hours
- SLEEP: While lashes are still malleable, avoid sleeping face down. Sleeping on your back is best to avoid pressing against the lashes, which may cause misdirection and unevenness.
- FACEWASH: Oil-free products are recommended after the initial 48 hours. Oily products may cause the lashes to lose their lift prematurely and straighten back out. Avoid coconut oil on the lashes unless you want to loosen the curl.
- MASCARA: Avoid waterproof mascara, since removing it requires a lot of rubbing it can cause the lift to fall. Use mascara that contains keratin, arginine, and biotin. This will promote strong and healthy lash growth and help the lash lift last longer. Using your aftercare conditioning mascara will not only promote the life of your lash lift but it will help prevent lash breakage and lash fallout. And of course, you can ditch the DIY lash curler.
- DON’T TOUCH & BRUSH: After a lift treatment, avoid touching the lashes during the first few days. This will help keep the lashes in their desired shape. Make sure to brush your lashes everyday to keep them in their desired shape and prevent them from tangling and growing out in weird directions.
- FOLLOW UP: Lift treatment can last up to 3 months, the entire life cycle of your lashes. This treatment can be scheduled in 8-10 weeks to maintain the ‘lift’.
