This service will begin with a consultation with the brow artist discussing your current eyebrow routine as well as an in depth strategy to get to your brow goals. Please come prepared with pictures of your ideal brows. A brow wax and shaping is included in this service.
After the waxing and shaping process the artist will go over exactly how to fill in and shape your brows in between brow appointments. The brow artist will go over product knowledge and techniques. You will leave with knowledge and the confidence to fill in and maintain your brows while working towards your brow goals. Each individual will be given a timeline and tools to obtain full and perfectly shaped brows for your face.
This service is suitable for anyone wanting to learn how to fill in and properly shape their brows regardless of the amount of brow hair. Gaining product knowledge on how to use each brow product to make an easy brow routine at home.
What do I do to prepare for my brow wax?
Please come to your appointment with clean brows. Meaning no makeup on or near the eyebrows. Please avoid wearing any foundation, concealer or skincare on or near the brow area. Please avoid using any exfoliating skincare products. Do not use any AHA’s, Retin A. Failure to do so may affect your results or cause an allergic reaction.
What is the brow wax & shaping process?
First, we’ll customize the wax to you and your skin type. Next, we’ll trim and tweeze stray hairs around your brows, without over-tweezing. From there, we’ll focus on customizing your brows for your face shape, while staying true to your natural growth. Then we move on to highlighting and filling each brow in with Kelley Baker Brow product. We have products in store that you can purchase to give you the same look you achieved in the salon.
I have a wedding, special occasion, trip coming up and I have never had brow waxing + shaping when should I book?
If you have never had a brow waxing and have a special event, then we recommend booking a few days before the event. How do I know if I am a good candidate for brow waxing?
Mostly everyone is a good candidate for brow waxing as long as you have a good amount of brow hair. If your brow hair is very sparse or thin consider using a brow serum for two months before coming in for a brow wax and shaping. How often can I get my brow wax & shaping done?
You can receive the brow waxing service every 2-4 weeks. We recommend to not tweeze or trim any brow hair until you see the brow artist.
How do I take care of my brow wax?
If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours, seek medical advice.
- Avoid exfoliating facial cleansers.
- Those containing AHA's or other chemical exfoliates may cause irritation.
